Learning through play
Play is one of the most effective ways for children to learn. Games help to build brain pathways for thinking, creativity, flexibility and competence, laying solid foundations for important lifelong skills.
Children learn best when they’re having fun. Learning will come naturally without them realising it, giving them a head start at school.

There are so many benefits to playing games!
Playing games is a great way to learn! There are so many benefits, not least a relaxed and positive social experience without the pressure of targets and testing. Well-designed educational games give children a head start, nurturing values such as language development, number sense, problem solving and logical thinking. A sense of achievement helps to build confidence and self-esteem, leading to better grades at school.
Games that are fun motivate and inspire; they improve focus, concentration, memory, team work and patience. Healthy competition teaches children to take turns, cooperate with and listen to others, and graciously concede defeat. Before the digital age countless kids grew up with board and card games, which are now undergoing a huge revival. There’s something to be said for sitting down with the family creating fond memories playing games!

Hector’s Nectar
Great family fun, it’s become one of our favourite games! The illustrations are brilliant.
The game is simple to grasp for all ages and its a bonus that it’s educational! It’s also nice and compact to pop in your bag for a weekend away to kept everyone entertained.
Would definitely recommend!

I bought this game for my 7 year old great-nephew to help him learn his times tables and it is already one of his favourite games. To quote: Its’s the best game ever! They all enjoy playing as a family and even his little brother is learning a few tables as they played it so often! It’s got great illustrations too and they love the pirate characters.

Recommended to me by a teacher friend who bought it for her own children. I think I love this game even more than my kids! It allows us to practice multiplication at home without them even realising they are learning.
Beautifully designed, easy to understand and quite addictive.
